Defenx, a Swiss IT security provider for home and enterprises, announced its Smartphone Antivirus solution for Indian customers.
 
Defenx Mobile Security Suite for Smartphones is a suite of applications designed to protect smartphones and the data it carries. This suite has the features: AntiTheft, AntiSpam and AntiVirus. Defenx SmartPhone Suite gives real time protection which can immediately detect new threats. Defenx AntiTheft is an anti-theft solution for mobile devices letting lock the phone and delete data remotely via SMS, ensuring the highest level of protection.

Huawei has been selected to deploy next-generation ultra-broadband network access for Telkom South Africa. By employing Huawei's SingleFAN solution, the network will achieve a downlink rate of up to 100 Mbit/s per user, which enhances its capability to offer products and services such as voice, data, and IPTV. Deployment of the countrywide network will involve four million users.

Polycom has announced collaboration with the Education Commission of Beijing Xicheng District for the establishment of the first remote and international exchange education system in Beijing using Polycom RealPresence video solutions.

The first stage of the remote education system will involve construction of video classrooms in 10 middle schools, 50 standard schools and 200 cooperative schools to be completed by September 2012.
