NEC Participates in the “NGMN Industry Conference and Exhibition 2010”

NEC Corporation participates in the “NGMN Industry Conference 2010,” sponsored by Next Generation Mobile Networks (NGMN), in Shanghai, China from June 2-4, 2010 at the Shanghai World Financial Center.
The conference features presentations and exhibits from worldwide mobile phone operators and communications vendors, and promotes the development and standardization, as well as the market trends of next generation wireless communications technologies. This is third time NGMN has held the event and NEC’s first time participating.

NEC’s position at booth C3 will introduce “information-free” terminals, including virtual PC thin client systems that provide secure computing environments for the home or other locations, as well as high speed wireless broadband data system combined with LTE that enable low-latency, superior quality, high speed wireless broadband.

NEC makes important contributions to the development of mobile networks through next generation communications systems, which includes technologies that enable the miniaturization of base stations, the efficient construction and operation of base stations using synchronous optical networks (SON), the world’s smallest class of core network systems and a lineup of LTE products.
